Rehab is good too bad it’s only 6 weeks . Every time we get knocked down it should be there to help us back up

I find if I am carrying something and going upstairs I get out of breath. After my heart attack 12\2022 my ejection fraction went from 60 to 45. After I have my back surgery I am going to go to cardio rehab. I need to feel more confident when doing things, and not be afraid .

For me it's crazy I can go steps ok but if I walk up steep hill I give out of breath, I try to think back in high school days when I played sports ,breath in thru nose and let out thru your mouth that helps slow down heart rate ,but at 66 not so east to do anymore and I am down about my high school weight 220 ,but still just try keeping it pumping

What a great and informative article. Experiencing breathlessness appears to be normal and common. I think the bigger question is out of breath for how long? I know I get in bed after the 13 steps to the bedroom [yes, I count them] and breath heavier for a short time than I did sitting watching the news. Even political opinion stories don't cause hyper-ventilation? 😎

I attended Cardiac Rehab and found it very useful.
