Matt Segar, M.D., M.S.

Dr. Matt Segar is a board-certified cardiologist and a cardiac electrophysiology fellow at the Texas Heart Institute. His research focuses on using machine learning and artificial intelligence to improve risk prediction and personalize treatments for cardiovascular disease. He has authored more than 70 peer-reviewed publications and received awards from the American Heart Association and the National Institutes of Health for his work in big data research. In addition to his clinical and research roles, Dr. Segar is the founder and CEO of ReCODE Medical, a company that streamlines revenue cycle management for medical procedures.
