i never would have dreamed I lose weight I be heavy most my life over 200 it be my battle within. I lose over 80 pounds it just came off doing Keto my way cuz I ate bread anyway. I cut back the sweets I love chocolate so bad, getting off chocolate is hard. I did it but started back in, I gained 10 pounds and I feel it. But I walk every morning it be my sanctuary like never before I never would have dreamed I come this far I so feel alive and refreshed its Gods glory for me being here. Yeah yeah! I swim laps I was swimming a mile but I be so tired after too much but wow swimming a length of free and not stopping for feeling short of breath I don't know how I did it back then. I be a swimmer forever it be in my soul I was a fish in another world. I so believe.. I weigh 145 and I feel great God is good so much. When I realized I could swim a length of free and not feel winded was amazing in my head my psyche very happy. My walks may be short but they help me so much for I sink I get sad and it gets me out of my head..

80 yrs old. Amyloidosis, chronic kidney disease, neuropathy and early Parkinson's. I've deliberately lost 100 lbs. Since cool weather set in I walk 5-6 miles@day with an upright walker. My breathing is better and I now have some sensations in my feet. Learning to walk now without walker. I have pacemaker implant. On personal restrictive diet. Feel very well, considering imminent demise.

I like to go to the gym and use the treadmill, not holding on for 20 to 30 minutes, then to leg press machine for three sets and finish off with chest, bicep reps. Exercise helps relieve depression and anxiety. I try to make it to gym three times a week.

I started walking in 2012. Used to walk for an hour when I'd walk several times a week. Then I went to Utah and hiked the Utah mountains. I was hooked. Now I do day hikes in Florida. I'm almost age 73. My last day hike last weekend was about 10 miles. The longest day hike that I did was 20.6 miles which was just too much. It wiped me out. I'd say that 8 to 12 miles is a comfortable hike for me. As a result of all the walking and hiking since 2012 my doctor's say that I'm now in excellent shape. Used to have angina but the walking got rid of it, my CAC=0. Abnormal EKG is now normal. God healed me from a thoracic aneurysm. It disappeared. Have mild Left Ventricular Hypertrophy.
