I’ve been wearing the zoll life vest for almost 2 years. It is so uncomfortable. I know it is there to save my life. But sometimes I take it off to just get a break. It’s been along road

Yes it does, I have been wearing one for 5 months, low ejection fraction. I may have to have an Icd, I pray that I don't need one. I pray for higher ef. It has been hard for my ef to increase.

I wore one for several months. Very reliable and representatives of the company were great. My insurance wouldn't pay. Zoll appealed, and when they lost, billed me only for the percentage I would have paid if insurance had covered me

I had to wear the Zoll vest twice. I had Takotsubo Cardiomyopathy twice. The other name for this is Broken heart syndrome. A emotional or physical stressor proceeds it. You have chest pain and it mimics a heart attack. You have changes on EKG also cardiac bio markers. Cardiac catheterization shows no obstruction. There is apical ballooning with no evidence of CAD. But your heart has a EF of about 35. So you must wear the vest till your heart heals. I was a pain but I wore it for about two or three weeks. Had to take it off when I showered and then attach all the leads. The worst thing was the heavy battery!

I wore one for 3 months and it was the most stressful time for both me and my wife. You have to have 2 vests as they need to be washed every 2 days and you have to change out the hardware when you do. I tried to sleep in bed but as you roll over the pick up elements with get rolled over and then the belt will bong to tell you that there is something wrong with the vest. So I slept in the recliner for 3 months. The vest will go off sometimes when you are walking fast or just getting in and out of your car what happens is the elements will slid and not pick up your heart beat so it is warning you and you better respond because the next thing will be a defib shock I never had one. I had a pacemaker defib unit implanted 2 weeks ago and never want to go back on an external one. The surgery was no big deal and recovery is fine
