Is Every Pain That I G
is every pain that I get in my chest a problem? how do I know for what must I look
Not all chest pains are heart related. I would did chest pains from acid reflux and indigestion. After my heart attack in 1990, I thought every chest pain was another heart attack coming. I had developed panic attacks from all of the worrying both my husband and I were having. I was in the ER many times. I went to a different PCP a year after my heart attack. She and another dr. tried different meds until they found one that stopped my panic attacks. She had me try another approach to handling my chest pains. She had me take Mylanta three times five minutes apart. If that didn't work, I was to start my nitro pills. I was to wait five minutes apart on them also. By the third nitro pill I better have an ambulance on it's way. The majority of the time I didn't even get through all of the Mylanta and the chest pains quit. That helped solve my chest pain problems. There where a couple times I still had to go to the hospital but that is a lot better than rushing all the times I used to. I hope this helped alittle.
Not all pains are heart related, some are collateral pain, some stress, some anxiety, mild panic attacks, and some are just plain old bruises and muscle kinks. Look for other symptoms, more tired, related pain, pulse, etc.
