Dear Paula I read your post and you have a very sick young man on your hands and I'm not offering pity or anything like that but I do want to say that you must be a very strong woman to love somebody so much to go through all those things with him and to ensure that things are well and right with him as they can be every once in awhile in the masses of human beings you find somebody like you that cares gives two cents however somebody wants to put it LOL but I appreciate you and if you ever just need somebody to rant to or talk to about anything we can trade recipes but to know a human being of your quality is an exceptional thing in life and that's the one lucky thing I think your husband's gotten for such a wonderful spouse please take care๐Ÿ˜Š

Hold up, what? Are you saying that my hubby 54 yr, with being cancer and chemo survivor and survived mild heart attacks and a stroke, whom now got put on Brilinta( antiplatelet med) since Feb 6th 23 from a malfunctioning platelets and blood clot heart attack with 2 stents angioplasty style in since is likely going to shorten his life to less than 12 months? He, in which was prescribed for 11 months ( taken for over two months already) and one month aspirin with Brilinta, then go back to just Aspirin and maybe Eliquis regimen. His recent ECHO results that we got to see early(2 days ago), it showed LV EFF at 30-35% putting him at moderate CHF. No feelings of SOB OR CHEST PAIN Or other common symptoms. Already done 7 day event monitor.
He has a genetic gene that confirmed cardiomyopathy and a neuromuscular disease due to a mutation of the VCP gene showing symptoms similar to ALS w/ FRONTALTEMPORAL DEMENTIA is common and a bone disease( Paget's). But symptoms also of Inclusion Muscle Myopathy or mimics right side affect with left side stroke since 2019.
Ultimately, with this neuromuscular diseases and no cure, it depletes your muscles ( currently end stage( biopsy) and this includes your heart and lungs.

Now that the back ground on him has been shared, could you share with me where in their literture it says this, so I can address this with his Primary and especially his cardiologist we see a week from Thursday. They already want to increase his meds. Chronic Afib with cardioversions ( 7) not working or lasting. This has me quite concerned.
By the way, my name is Paula as well as yours.

In their literature, it looks like people last about 12 months taking Brilinta.
