Lela my ep told me since I have a icd they are not accurate, I looked at getting one and asked her about them. If you don't have an icd they may be somewhat useful. Almost always when you get a ecg from your medical provider it is a 12 lead, the Kardia is listed as a single (sometime 3) lead reading, not very accurate.

What other options or devices are available to self monitor heart issues? Would KardiaMobile catch Afib if not active at the testing time? Any other wearable devices that are more accurate than FitBit?

I tried the Kardia mobile, even when heart rate was super high, I would use the kardia would not detect anything, but my Fitbit did. Tried it several times, same thing. Guess something you wear all the time will detect things, because something you try when the symptoms are there.

I got to a doctor when I did in large part because of the Afib warnings from my FitBit watch. FitBit is not perfect but I will always wear this or something similar. I had an ablation last month and not an Afib notice since. I will get doctors assessment over the next few weeks to determine how close I can get to my former life.

Iā€™m wondering to what degree Kardia mobile used daily would warn me of any new heart rhythm issues. I see more positive than negative reviews but would like to hear both the good and weaknesses from knowledgeable users.
