Saw the dr this morning. She did not rule out the possibility of gout but really believes it is tendinitis of the Achilles tendon. Prescribed prednisone and if it is gout I should have relief in about 2-3 days. If it is tendinitis it could be two weeks or more! Guess what I’m hoping for! It has gotten continually worse it seems every day, to the point of throbbing like a toothache today. I hate going on prednisone but she didn’t have anything else to offer, being considerate of my kidney problems and blood pressure. Fingers crossed. Janine, what did you find out about your foot? Not bad news I hope. Well, it’s a new week and I hope you all are going to have a good one. As TL puts it, keep it pumpin!

Barb B. My sural nerve has had radio frequency ablation which stopped heel and foot pain for a while. I am looking forward in the next couple of weeks to another RFA in that nerve.

If you notice swelling in your legs or ankles, it's important to consult a doctor to check for heart disease.
