Caryn, Ablation was the answer to my prayers. I had several Cardioversions. My last one was after starting a new Antiarrythmic (Sotalol) and 3 days later I was back in Afib. My Ablation was in Dec 2020 and I have done great since. An internal cardiac monitor gives me peace of mind. My cardiologist reviews the readings monthly and i can report symptoms. I am blessed 😇
I had my ablation 4/22. The procedure went well and I have been in normal rythem since. I would highly recommend checking into it if you have constant afib.
I had the ablation done this June. They also implanted a pacemaker with two leads to the the right & left ventricle of the heart. This has stopped my shortness of breath and my energy level is increasing. The surgery was outpatient with overnight stay in hospital. Just had to be careful not to use my left arm to until things got healed up. Doing very well now with no issues of breathing.
I had an ablation do October 22, 2018. It was successful. I am watched every year by my cardiologist. It was my first one. It took eight eight to do it. The doctor had difficulty on the right side of my heart. Hugs
Hi BarbB have you had a cardioversion? My husband had several of those, using the paddles, and after two ablations and now a pacemaker, he is feeling much better. That all took place over the past 15 yrs. We are so thankful we are still able to care for each other. Hope you have a good night and may God bless.
