Subrina, I have had sleep apnea forever I am talking like 20 years now. I wear a full face mask every night. Mitch is right they say more men than women have it and he is also right about the masks they make some really good masks now. They are much more comfortable than the old ones. I use mine every single night and I can't sleep without my machine. I do hope you can qualify for the Inspire it sounds like a much better way to go if you can. If I could qualify, that is the way I would go now only because it is more comfortable and easier, especially when you need to travel or go to the hospital. If you get it let us all know how you like it. Hugs🤗

My mom has used a CPAP for years. She got a temporary dementia one time when her old one broke down and she had to sleep without one until we could get a fix. Mom uses the Phillips 'Dream Wear" nasal pillow that sits just under the nose, has a very low profile comfy design.

The reason why I asked is that I am a brand new sleep apnea patient but I cannot stand anything on my head but the cardiologist is trying to see the pulmonologist to see if I can qualify to use the inspire that is placed in the chest. I just wondered about it and that is why I asked the question but I really do not want to wear a regular mask and I dont have one yet but I feel like a rebel.
