Can you take an antihistamine to dry it up? Don't take anything with a decongestant. Just a plan antihistamine. That would help with the coughing too. Make sure it is okay to take it and it won't interfere with any medications you are taking. I take a drug called Allegra and I have also done flonase (that one goes up the nose and takes some time to be effective) I choose generic versions to keep the cost down.
