I’ve been on a loop recorder over a year……I almost forget it’s implanted. It does record your heart through your cellphone to a designated person/doctor. I have shown very few episodes of AFib, of which I was completely unaware. One episode occurred in middle of the night, while sleeping, and after an hour it righted itself. I believe the loop lasts for three years and its battery dies. You can opt for its removal or just forget about it.
