Dizziness can indeed be a symptom of paroxysmal atrial fibrillation (AFib). Here are some key points:

- Symptoms of Paroxysmal AFib: Dizziness, along with arrhythmia (irregular heartbeat), heart palpitations, chest pain, shortness of breath, fatigue, and fainting, can occur.
- Diagnosis: If your dizziness is related to AFib, it might be due to irregular heart rhythms affecting blood flow to your brain.
- Action: It's important to discuss these symptoms with your cardiologist for a thorough evaluation and appropriate management.

If dizziness persists or worsens, seek medical attention promptly.

Hi Now346,

Cardiologist will put you on a Holter monitor for a period of time to see if it the heart. But I agree with Caryn so any things can cause it (i.e. medications) Hope you get an answer soon.

It could be so many things. You medications, Afib, who knows. Have they asked you to wear a monitor so they can figure it out? If not, maybe you should ask them to do that. That way when you have a dizzy spell you can mark the recording and they can see if it is heart-related. If you are taking beta blockers they can make you feel dizzy as can almost all of the other meds you probably take. Make sure to take them with your meals and as prescribed. If you are taking a blood pressure med that makes you dizzy during the day ask them if you can switch to taking it before bed instead. Good luck and keep us posted. Hugs🤗
