I Had Heart By Surgery In January. I Still Have Memory Problems, But The Thing Most Bothersome Is My "off Balance."

Has anyone else experienced dizziness and unstableness after their surgery that does not go away? I seem to stumble around and misstep and sometimes fall into things. How do I solve this?

There are several videos on YouTube on balance, strength and perception and feedback. My wife and I plan to start watching as soon as some spare time overcomes us.

Thanks for these suggestions. Docs have looked at the meds and they say, "nope, not the meds." After I finish Cardio Rehab, I hope to sign up for Balance PT. I am still on blood thinners and was told to not fall and hit my head. LOL, Of course, I try to be careful. Thanks for your thoughts.

It may be one of your medications causing a problem. Let your doctor know what is going on. Try taking any meds with food to make sure that is not the cause of your dizziness. Keep us posted on what you find out. Hugs.🤗
