Interesting. Eggs? Aren't we told eggs are bad for our hearts? I LOVE eggs, made scrambled "eggs in a hole" yesterday. Take middle out of a thick slice of Italian bread or Texas toast is great too, pour scrambled eggs with sweet peppers diced small, shredded sharp cheddar, lots of fresh ground pepper, garlic powder and a dash of hot sauce. The center of our new stove has a griddle and I LOVE IT! My Dear Bride keeps sending me recipes. I have indeed created a monster! I call our small kitchen my galley and don't want anyone else in it? 😉

I use less than a pinch of salt when I eat a hard boiled egg, but other than that I either use Mrs dash or nothing. I track my sodium intake and keep it to 1500 mg a day. I have diastolic heart failure. I love salt, but this is what I have to do.

@A MyHeartDiseaseTeam Member Good for you! I too have diastolic heart failure and limiting salt is what I need to do and truthfully, I don't miss it at all. Hugs🤗

Yes I use Mrs dash every day when I am cooking. It’s a lot better than salt. Hugs
