I was told in either 10th or 11th grade that I had a heart murmur. So I would have been 16 or 17 at the time. it wasn't until I was 48, in 2016 that I found out I was born with a heart defect when they heard the murmur again and asked me if I knew I had one. At the time, I told the doctor I didn't know I had one, but a few weeks later I had remembered high school and being told I had one, just my parents never had it looked at any farther and I just forgot about it.
Then in June of this year 2024, I found out I also had an aneurysm.
