Now that I'm learning of my heart issues, I am just wondering if the platelets will change after heart surgery.

Just hoping things get better for you.

The lowest I've been is 54 when I was in the hospital 🏥 for pneumonia.

I have to get labs 💉🩸every 3 months to keep my HIV 🦠 in check. I've been undetectable for 16 years now, so it's impossible for me to pass it on to anyone even if I tried. Once I become DETECTABLE again, then medications 💊 will need to change. Right now I no longer take daily pills 💊. I started out with 23 pills 💊 4 times a day. As science 🧪 got better, and understanding of HIV 🦠 got better, less and less pills 💊 to take. Now I just get 1 shot 💉 every other month.
In the beginning the doctor 👨‍⚕️🩺🥼 thought my platelets were low because of the HIV 🦠 or the meds 💊 but after reviewing my medical 🩻⚕️chart, saw they been low all my life 🧬. Many test have been done, nothing 🚫 has came back abnormal. So nobody knows why they are so low. Now that I have this heart ❤️ issue going on, I'm thinking 🤔💭 it may be the reason, so I'm going to ask at my appointment this Thursday 📆

As you can see from my labs done this past Wednesday maybe it was Thursday, I'm sitting at 84 for platelets. I've NEVER been above 95 since I was 5 years old.
