Very informative. Glad they did the non invasive TTE for me. I am sure I would be among those that would not be able to tolerate sallowing a probe to go down my esophagus. Definitely need sedation for anything invasive. I was scheduled for an echo stress but after I passed out while in the shower they recommended a cat scan with contrast. Not invasive the both procedures I had, thank heavens!

The TEE is easy . I don't remember swallowing the probe. They put you to sleep before that and you wake up after they finish. No after effects . I felt good. They used propenol which is a great sedative.

It is pretty easy @A MyHeartDiseaseTeam Member I guess I have had so many now that I don't even think about them anymore. If it is your first time it can be scary and you will worry about the outcome. I am glad you enjoyed the video. This doctor explains things very well. Hugs🤗
