My pcp addresses my condition although pharma doesn't. Obamacare, and medicare won't authorize wegovy, or manjauro. Unless you have a1c of 6 or 7. Here it's all about profits, and keeping as much profit as possible by insurance agencies. Wegovy is 92 a month in Britain where novo is based. In the US the prescription is 1300 a month. Enjoy your week, and weekend.

My 15 year old son was murdered in 1999. He was our only child.
25 years later my stress and anxiety levels are still aggravated every time we hear of the birth of a grandchild (something we will never experience) university graduations, job promotions first new house, weddings etc., etc., etc. .The emotional toll is ever-present and does not let up. I was diagnosed with idiopathic cardiomyopathy in 2000, Years later it was changed to non-ischemic cardiomyopathy, with the cause narrowed down to takotsubo syndrome or viral. I believe there are some stresses that never leave and cause this heart damage. Last week I had congestive heart failure but am getting better. I am now 78 yrs old,

According to the knowledge base, patients often want more guidance on lifestyle changes, such as diet and exercise, and more empathy from their doctors. This lack of support and understanding can make it difficult for patients to manage their heart disease effectively.

Would you prefer more lifestyle tips from your cardiologist to help manage your condition?

Brenda715, Sue581. I'm so sorry and sad to hear these stories. Just shows that we never know what others are going through? Carry on, do your best, do what you can and forget the rest?

My heart goes out to you Joe. My first wife alienated our three children, especially my only daughter at 3 years old. I have no contact. That was in 1989, Dissolution was final end of April, she was remarried end of May. I won't go into the details but even showing my youngest son who contacted me, the court papers, he still believes his Mother? I understand your emotions regarding your loss! Stay strong Sir!
