Oral hygiene is a big indicator of general health and very complicated I feel. There's Acidophilus milk and a score of probiotics for gut health. I think our metabolism, genetics, immune system and general health have a major affect on our teeth.
Your outlook on life, mood, stress level & how you handle it, exercise and nutrition can have a large effect on your body, digestion, immune system and energy level. The same is true of the health of your body, diet and digestion efficiency and overall strength, energy and resources to handle psychological stress and mental challenge.
It’s easier to have a good outlook if you are healthy and to be healthy if you have good outlook.
Jim, If they were paying people to stay away from stress I think lots of folks wouldn't call their relatives. Just saying. This was a good article with some meat on its bones. I think in the future one will be able to make some money on their good gut because I think fecal implantation is going to become much more popular - at least until science can grow good gut bacteria outside of the human and make it viable. Keeping it going may befuddle them for awhile too but I see this as one of the big interventions to come in the future. Meanwhile we need much better and cheaper dental care for everyone. Your teeth have a big impact on the immune system and heart health.
Psychological stress affects the gut, the immune system, blood pressure, heart and respiration rate.Stress, exercise, medication OR RARELY A MEDICAL CONDITION can trigger heart palpitations also known as A-Fib? Rarely? Cardiac care, even Cleveland Clinic, is all about drugs, surgeries, implanted devices and of course the alcohol, nicotine admonishment with a financial bonus for the medical provider to "counsel" you to stop but no counsel to stop being around people and things that cause stress. ROOT CAUSES? 😎
