I won't buy into the advantage plans. No providers will take them. It has been this way since they started offering them.

There are so very many companies offering plans that support and modify Medicare and medicaid insurance and the confusion is over the top! I'm 71, my wife 67 [robbed the cradle?] and we've changed a few times but now have an AETNA HMO which we are pleased with and our local agent is impressive. Last year I had an MRI of right shoulder, no approval needed. This year the office got one? So many providers advertising their policies adds confusion on confusion. Many retired public sector are limited in their choices I think. There's lots of money floating around in all aspects of the medical/industrial/insurance complex. Good luck finding the best fit! 😎
