Hi Kathy, I live in Sugar Land as well. I also have CHF and diabetes along with a laundry list of other ailments. I ended up in the hospital 2 years ago during the Christmas holidays and had fluid from my right lung drained. Am on Lasix daily with no issues. I'm lifting you up in prayer for a great prognosis.

I'm sorry to hear you're going through this. Here are some relevant points from my knowledge base that might help you understand your situation better:

- Lasix (Furosemide): This is a diuretic, often used to treat hypertension and edema associated with congestive heart failure. It helps by ridding your body of excess sodium and water through urination.
- Leg Pain and Edema: Congestive heart failure can lead to fluid buildup in the legs and feet, causing pain and swelling. Treatments include diuretics like Lasix, compression stockings, and lifestyle changes such as reducing sodium intake and elevating your legs.
- Managing Symptoms: For leg pain, general recommendations include elevating your leg, stretching, massaging, applying ice, or taking over-the-counter pain relievers like acetaminophen or ibuprofen.

Wishing you a speedy recovery.
