@A MyHeartDiseaseTeam Member,
SVTs, PVCs, and A-Fib are why I was given an A-ICD. My device correct all of these arrhythmia and pace my heart back to a normal rhythm. It also has an anticoagulant, CRTD, GPS, ECG. It all is dependent on the typ of device needed. I nolonger make half of the trips I used to make to the ER and haven't needed to be kept in cardiac observation for 2 to 3 days. I used to worry about the uncomfortable falls but once all my systems went on line I only need to be seen once a year and I find out about them when they send the reports. I used to have to see them every 3 months now only one a year. My electrophysiologist cardiologist told my unless my device is damaged in some way he see me for my battery change. That was in 2021, but he has made notes and signed off on every quarterly report with extra notes. I started with an 11 year battery in 2018 and have 2y 7m left, so it's doing its job.

Oh my. You take care. I do not always feel the symptoms or notice because I think it's my Hietel Hernia acting up πŸ˜” I guess I just have to trust that the Drs know what they are doing and put it in God's hands. πŸ™ God Bless you sending you prayers πŸ™ and hugs πŸ€—

I've had A FIB for 15 years. I am a-symptomatic. But I do have very limited endurance with an EF of 30. . I have had a pacemaker implanted, an ablation, and 2 cardioversions. I just live with it! I exercise evey day at home and at the gym, eat healthy, sleep well and try to adapt to my condition. For me .... "Every day is a gift!"
