According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), approximately 70% of adults in the United States are overweight or obese. This translates to around 150 million individuals. And growing! i think this is a health crisis and contributes to the high cost and availabiity of care for all. in my opinion processed foods should include a cigarette style health warning because they also contribute to higher health costs and shorter lifespans.

These warnings killed our global smoking proplem, didn't they?

Expecting 150 million overweight Americans constantly bombarded by temptation and advertising to suddenly change lifestyle is a proposition that has already failed.

To me both Kennedy and OZ are talented, educated celebraty hucksters who might attract a large audience and expertise to explore the causes and possible solutions to this crises.

I’ve been taking it at my Doctor’s weight loss clinic! It costs about 85.00 dollars per week but I couldn’t afford it! Fortunately my daughter can afford it and she is funding my weight loss journey! She is on Wegovy and I am on Zepbound! They are the same drug Tirzepatide is the generic name! I have been on it since August and I’ve lost 30 lbs and two sizes since! I take it for the heart disease benefits! The only problem that I have encountered is a bit of Constipation from time to time…I feel great and my depression has lifted as well! I do not like diet pills. I just eat in moderation. Drink plenty of water. My downfall is I love my Chocolate so need to pay attention. What works for one does not work for everyone. You are blessed to have a daughter that can help you.
