Your ICD is most likely delivering you some therapy when you feel it vibrating. It could be a number of things though. Definitely discuss this with your cardiologist. I have had ICDs since 2002 and along with that I have a at home monitor that keeps track of my heart rhythms, etc. and let me know if there are any problems with it.
From my past experiences, if you are being home monitored and if something very serious is going on with your ICD, someone will eventually get in touch. If you are feeling extremely unsettled about anything coming from your ICD, especially if it starts to shock you, you can always call the paramedics.
Hi Walsh Barbara. I tried to get hold of my cardiologist and Medronic regarding ICD vibrating but the offices are closed today being a holiday. I hope it's nothing serious. I feel ok. All vital signs are good.
Take care 🙂
Call the cardiologist as soon as you can there might be a problem you need to address.
