Call them out on that immature disrespectful behavior. We all should be treated with dignity and respect. Real basic ethics of health care . Report them. I did . Go doctor shopping.

I share this data with all my doctors. My primary care doctor appreciated that I share so much information and keep her in the loop. Not all doctors appreciate patients who do that. It is hard sometimes to shop around for a new doctor as many areas have a shortage of doctors. The second article talks about how technology might fill this gap. For example, I have good experience with the Kardi Mobile device. It takes an EKG and saves it as a PDF so you can email it directly to the doctor or cardiologist. Before I used this device I had to travel 15 miles just to get an EKG done so the doctor could tell what the of arrhythmia I had. It works so well and it is easy to use, with no wires or sticky allergy-inducing pads. It is a small device and takes a 6-lead EKG! Amazing stuff and it is only getting better each day.
