Hi Patricia,
I was not a candidate for the Watchman nor the Amulet procedure due to the structure of my heart. I guess the size of the area and the sizes of the devices didn't fit. I was told there was another procedure called the Atri clip, but I guess it's more invasive to install it. I am tolerating blood thinners. I did have a stroke that occurred above the heart and didn't come from the heart and my carotid arteries are not an issue either. Cardiologist informed me it could have been calcium or tissue that caused the CVA. Hope others respond as I know of a few on this forum have had it done.
