Anyone Here Drink Alcohol Or Is It Bad For The Heart To šŗ
Iām recovering so the last thing I would need is a drink. If I was drinking with my heart condition there is no way I would be alive now. Then I would have never met you wonderful people. The jist of our AA program is basically one fellow alcoholic helping another. We are trying to do that with each other here. Our conditions are not all the same but we all suffer from congestive heart failure. We are here to support each other. Think how crazy we would get being by our selves all day and not having someone to talk to you about each other heart condition
minerals are important for your body too and booze just destroys them
A beer now and then is ok.
I have read that red wine in moderation (2 glass max) is good for the heart. The french and Italians have a very low rate of heart disease
Debra, I agree. Both alcohol and sugar are so damaging to our bodies. They are inflammatories. Inflammation causes plaque that blocks arteries. Oxidation of fats and minerals causes plaque. Antioxidants are so important. Everyone needs to look up what antioxidants are and where they are found. Look up what anti inflammatory are and where they are found. Changing your diet to include the good foods and eliminate the bad ones can save your life. If you research it, you will remember it.
