Has Anyone Heard About The Use Of Vitamin E Complex

I have read that Vitamin E complex is an absolute must, particularly for women to combat heart disease. What other vitamins and/or natural alternatives can one use to combat the disease over and above the meds?

Rene, I love your question. Unfortunately there is no simple answer to your question about supplements because what could be beneficial to some may be detrimental to others. An example of this would be using Vitamin K2 while taking certain blood thinners such as Coumadin is prohibited, but otherwise may be very useful. Having said that, I will share that I take 400 mg of Coenzyme Q-10 plus some standard antioxidants and fish oil every morning which have seemed to be an effective combination for me. Dr. Stephen Sinatra has published some useful information on supplements that should be fairly easy to find. Hope that helps a little, James

It is also helpful with the treatment of Peyronie's disease. If you not sure what Peyronie's disease is you can ask Dr Google.

I take vitamin K2 and I'm on Eliquis and it is fine. Vitamin E thins the blood, so I don't take it. CO Q 10 is supposed to help those with CHF. I was told years ago it's a great supplement period. I was taking it, but noticed my heart rate was higher. Not sure if I can attribute that to the COQ10 yet, but do know it gives most people energy, and should not be taken before bedtime. Just my humble input. πŸ˜»πŸ€ŽπŸ˜ΊπŸ’šβ€οΈ
