Hi All. I Wanted To Know If Your Chronic Medication Also Makes You Feel Sick
My medication makes me feel extremely emotional and agitated at the same time. My stomach burns after I take my medication. It makes me feel horribly ill. My Cardiologist diagnosed me with stage 1 heart failure in 2021. He said exercise would be good for my heart, but I get out of breath extremely quickly. I clean a section of my house. I have to sit, totally out of breath. And sweating profusely, and tired. My Dad passed away from Heart Failure in 2020. I do not want to go through what my Dad… read more
Don't try to clean a lot at one-time. When you feel like you're getting tired take a break for a hour. Don't try to finish it all up at one time. Tell the Dr. About how the medications make you feel my did me the same way. I told him about it he told me it was the best for me. I went to the emergency room I was telling the doctor how that medication made me feel she took me off of it the one she gave me stop me from being tired all the time. Speak up for yourself only you know how you feel.
I do many things to make my stomach feel OK after taking medications, I never take meds on an empty stomach; besides eating, I drink a full glass of water; do not lie down right after taking medications; take at the same time every day with a meal or snack. Another reason my stomach is still OK is that I take Protonix (prescription) and sleep on a slant (for gastric reflux). So far, so good.
I also have heart failure and lost my Dad to heart issues.,so definitely get the don't want to follow that path thing. When I was first diagnosed with heart Failure earlier this year I was very short of breath and just like you describe. My cardiologist had me do cardio rehab. I was a real couch potato and had no stamina when I started, now I can walk 3)3 mile in a tread mill and do a new step for another 25 minutes. Yes I still get tired doing routine house hold activities, but at least I can do them spaced out and with some breaks. Also have to limit how much I do a day and do better if I get a short afternoon nap. Good luck!!!
I always feel better after taking my medicine. I take around 7 pills in the AM

For me... Anytime they put me on a new drug or change the dosage of any of the drugs that caught me on... I get on Google and I get some knowledge. This is going to sound strange but if you're at stage one you can do a lot of things to slow it all down. I hope this link might help. If you do any research, remember only trusted sites... I hope this helps. I think you might feel better if you have more knowledge of where you are... Being scared is normal. It just means you want to live and you need knowledge... Big virtual hug for you. Hang in there
