I wouldn’t purchase a new FitBit at this time.

I have a Versa 4 watch and the FitBit app and it all works well together. They have made some changes to the app and they are rolling out some changes that people asked for I think in the next few weeks. I am happy with both. We will see what the future brings. My friend says to get Garmin or Apple if you can afford it they are the best for fitness-related data. I got the Versa4 because it tracks my heart rate I am not so worried about the fitness aspect but I am happy with that on the Versa4 too.

This is interesting news as I didn't know that the future of Fitbit would be under Google ownership. I currently have a Fitbit and I like it but there's room for improvement. The band is the worst for wear. If you move your arm doing housework or whatever the band skips out of the two hoops. A little less programing would be great too. Maybe Google could improve things.

The analytics are changing on the fitbit. The information is condensed , less data.
I may have to look elsewhere .

I am not surprised by Google wanting some kind of ownership. I had a fitbit at one time and it got stolen., I never owned one again. I walk daily and I do my housecleaning and I work on my crochet and I have a scale that I weight myself everyday.

@A MyHeartDiseaseTeam Member , get a metal band. Looks far better, comfortable and resolved my swollen wrist issue.
