Hi Ivey,

I can't have open heart it will kill me so it would have to be a TAVR which has not been on the market yet. Someplace has to be doing research on this since so many people have had 2 TAVRs and can't have a third and can't have open heart. Happy Mother's Day Ivey!💖

"Can a heart valve be replaced 3 times?
Conclusions: Third-time AVR can be performed with low operative mortality, low cumulative operative mortality, and satisfactory long-term survival and freedom from reoperation. The procedure results in significant regression of left ventricular mass." Hope this helps Elizabeth. One would have to be in condition to tolerate a third surgery which it is my understanding would be open heart on the third go.
