I truly want to go off statins, going to push for this next doc visit

I’ve been taking statins for YEARS! I’ve also had pre glaucoma for years! My numbers are low for optic nerve pressure 18 and 16! Both of my parents had glaucoma as well as my sister…I will talk with my Opthalmologist when I see him next month and ask if they could be related! But given my long familial history of glaucoma I don’t think that they are related in my case!

Hi Janine. I have been on and off statins 3 times. Once during the dreaded menopause, once because my cholesterol went too low and the last time because I could not walk. The weakness was terrible. My doctor said never again with the statins. I am glad to read that you have had good luck with them. They help so many! 😊
