Mitral Valve Leak
Anyone been offered alternatives to valve replacement and was it successful
no, I was told I would need valve replacement because I only have 2 leaflets and not 3. So I have heavy leakage. Just found this out at 48 years old and it's been this way all my life and I never knew it.

Have they indicated when it would be necessary
Don't know of any. I am not at that point yet, but I do have moderate leakage.
