I was 70 when I had my very first Cardioversion due to heart stoppage or Cardiac Arrest got my pulse back then few minutes heart stopped again so had another cardioversion, CPR, then Intubation. I’m taking Ameodarone 200 mg once a day , 6.5 mg Metoprolol , 5 mg Eliquis, 20 mg Lipitor and Losartan. Losartan is not working on me. I took natural food supplements instead of Losartan and Lipitor and I’m doing fine. No episodes yet since I started “Cardiomax” I represent the maker of these products but because I’m under Doctor’s supervision, I decided to take prescriptions that didn’t work. Now I’m doing fine and so far no episodes yet. Take care and feel better. Blessings 🙏♥️

Pam2, I had the paddles with electrical shock a few years ago and I'm 70. I've had normal sinus rhythm since.

Cardioversion only worked temporarily for me. But it settled my heart.down some for that short period which felt better.
