Mobility challenges, severe arthritis, 5 open knee surgeries and 6 lower vertebrae fused. I'm at risk of immediate fall/injury taking the stairs. We are all different with different abilities and disabilities. Know your limits and be safe?

Stair climbing is Wonderful until you need to have joints replaced! Then it is a serious problem for me because my 12 year old hip replacements and 5 year old knee replacements hurt when I sit still so stairs are NOT an option! I don’t want to do more damage to them and I am afraid particularly of my knees giving way!

Climbing stairs used to be in the cards but no longer. Once you have joint issues and shortness of breath you take the lift and no shame in doing so. 🤗

If you can, go for it. If I can avoid it, I do. Just don't have the energy.

If you don't get winded climbing stairs. Go for it. Just hold on to the railing. I got winded climbing stairs when I went in heart failure
