Mine isn’t noticeable except for the faint scar! The Doctor who put mine in had excellent suturing skills!

Depends on who puts your device in. My doctor didn’t put mine in correctly and it hurts a lot and is under the skin but there is a huge budge and it slides at times. So check out the surgeon well first.

Yes it is noticeable. Can feel the entire outline on my left shoulder, along with the scar. Also, area is very sore to touch and it is too sore to wear a bra. The strap hurts too much. However, I am 74 years old and my main concern is my heart rate and no longer having Afib. My heart rate is always 70. Everyone’s outcome after implantation is different. I am just sharing my experience. ❤️❤️

A pacemaker is usually implanted beneath the skin of the chest under the collarbone. While it may create a small bulge under the skin, it is generally not very noticeable from the outside.

Small bump which is good as medical personnel need to know you have one if you are unable to say. General public will not know or notice it. It goes right under the skin and there is no noticeable scar for the public to see after it heals .
