Severe Heart Failure/EF 22%. Low grade cancer. Pre-Diabetic. Arthritis in hips/shoulders. Very Sedentary due to joint pain. But I want to live as long as possible. So how beneficial is Cardio?

Thank you. I'll look for a stretching program.🥰

The short answer is yes, it is worth it. It is not easy but all of the movement will make you feel better. Listen to your body and do what you can. Stretching would be very beneficial too.

I am not sure how much mobility you have. Try looking for sit and be fit that is produced by PBS. and try silver sneakers site if you are a member. Also, there should not be a problem with dong some chair yoga. In rehab they are going to teach you some yoga moves. Anyway, good luck finding what you want.

THANKS! I should have been clearer. The rehab is at our hospital, so it's 3Xweek drive. I found a few on YouTube but they are not recognized by cardi doc.

@A MyHeartDiseaseTeam Member Check out a few on YouTube and see if they work for you. I just posted one yesterday in the exercise and fitness group. Join the group and have a look. Also, ask others about stretching and see what they have to say. Hugs🤗
