Surviving Cardiac Arrest; Denial And Depression
I recently came to terms with surviving a cardiac arrest during my laparoscopic cholestectomy and umbilical hernia repair surgery (2 days after my 48th) birthday. I am lucky the police chief and ambulance personnel were so quick to arrive. I just moved here had I been in my home state I would surely have died, as it takes 20 min. for ambulance to arrive out in the country. My wife would have been the only one home and she would have gone to pieces.
I had mine july 18th 2022 at home. No pain. Husband said I said I felt wierd n collapsed. He did cpr until paramedics came. Doctors where shocked and said had remarkable recovery. Have pacemaker/defibrillator and so far so good

I had Cardiac Arrest after having chest pains at home. 911 called before Arrest, talking with police chief who was dirt one to arrive. He was talking with me when I arrested, ambulance personnel arrived just ad I Arrested and shocked me twice. 17 days in hospital, pacemaker and defibrillator put in. This happened March 30. Doing fine and felling good.
